ROCK HOUSE HISTORY

Garrett Nagorzanski is the great-great-grandson of Ovee Colwick, original owner of the Rock House at the site we now call CP Farm. Garrett is a senior architecture student at the University of Notre Dame, and has studied old photographs and aerial views of the property to create these colorful renderings in great detail.
On January 14, 2025, the Bosque County Museum in Clifton, Texas hosted Garrett to discuss research he conducted in Norway last year. Garrett and his fellow classmate, Luke, demonstrated their findings on historical rock houses in Bosque County, including history and reconstruction.
